Johnson Explains Why Burke Stayed Away From President
Is gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke throwing hints at the President to
change his ways? Senator Ron Johnson thinks so. He talked after Barack Obama stopped in the Badger State Thursday.
Burke said the president called her this week. She says they discussed job creation strategies and the need to strengthen Wisconsin’s middle class. Johnson said Burke doesn’t want to be seen with the president because a poll released earlier this week showed his approval rating had dropped to 44 percent in Wisconsin.
