Kind Co-Sponsors the Government By the People Act

The Government By the People Act, is legislation co-sponsored by

Congressman Ron Kind. The bill would allow candidates to run for office by relying on a large number of small donations from people back home. Kind says it includes a bit of shifting.

Kind says the act would reduce Congress’ dependence on big money campaign donors and help ordinary citizens get their voice heard. It was introduced on Wednesday.
