Police Flip Switch on Propane
Things were going pretty well for the La Crosse police department for awhile there. Running the entire fleet of squads on propane. Saving lots of money on fuel. Right up until a few weeks ago. When the price of propane basically tripled and quadrupled almost overnight
La Crosse assistant police chief Rob Abraham. He says the department will continue to run gasoline in the squad cars until the price of propane dips again to reasonable levels, which could be a month or more away.
