Neighbors of La Crosse’s oldest public school have definite opinions about

how the building should be used…

A ‘Linkage’ discussion at Roosevelt School last night led to ideas of new housing, especially for seniors, and community center ideas which might keep kids coming to the building after it closes later this year. Business uses are far down the list, according to school board president Connie Troyanek:

Some of the neighbors at the Roosevelt meeting want the property appraised before definite ideas are okay’ed by the school district.
