More Lease Trouble at Harbor

More problems for the operator of the Municipal boat harbor in La Crosse.  The city’s public works board meets again today to discuss additional defaults on the lease at the harbor held by Steve Mills.  The board has already declared Mills in default for three lease violations including one for not securing liability insurance by a January first deadline.  The latest alleged violations apparently involve debts that Mills’ owes to a couple different state agencies.  Mills gets time to cure the defaults before the city rescinds his lease and kicks him out of the harbor that he has operated for more than three decades.
