Copper Stolen From School Construction Site
The theft of copper is back in the area, this time from a job site
construction trailer that was parked at the new NorthSide Elementary School under construction on Kane Street.
La Crosse Police say sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning someone stole about $5000 worth of copper pipe fittings after forcibly entering a contractor’s trailer. These fittings were between 1/2” -3” in size and were mainly “T or 90 degree” style copper fittings. Most of these fittings have the name brand of “NIBCO”.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the La Crosse Police Department.
