Evers Blasts Common Core Board

State School Superintendent , Tony Evers is telling state lawmakers the

recommendations that will come out of a newly created Model Academic Standards Board will not be Common Core State Standards and are wrong.

Many Legislators want education standards to be reviewed every six years, and have proposed a 15 member committee to guide educational standards. The Assembly Committee on Education is scheduled to vote on the proposal today.
