Mailboxes Smashed In Vernon County

Vernon County Crime Stoppers and the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office

asking for your help in finding out who’s been smashing mailboxes. Between Tuesday and this morning, several mailboxes were smashed in the rural areas of Stoddard, Genoa and DeSoto. Cops think a baseball bat was used to damage the mailboxes. On Elm Drive in Stoddard, a car had its tires slashed. Tipsters may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 and will remain anonymous.
