County Goes After Size Of Board
A vote to shrink the size of the number of county board members that serve in
Monroe County is coming on April 1st. 24 to 16 is what Supervisor Bruce Humphrey would like to see. If approved, a re-districting of the entire county would happen.
After two unsuccessful tries at passing a proposal to shrink the number of board members, Humphrey went out and got over two thousand signatures from county residents to place the matter on the ballot.
