Has Spring Sprung At Copeland Park?
Copeland Park in La Crosse could be alive and kicking with baseball next
week. UW-La Crosse will play their first ever home game at the park with a new contract between the city and the La Crosse Loggers.
La Crosse Loggers GM Chris Goodell tells us that the Eagles playing there along with a new video board and astroturf is part of $650 thousand in improvements the team pledged to do in its partnership with UW-La Crosse athletics that will bring the UW-L baseball team to the field in 2014, with the Loggers providing $40 thousand a year to support the Eagles program.
