‘Deputy’ administrator, that is. Tomorrow night, the county board could vote to merge the top jobs in two existing departments to create the new post. We’ve seen in recent years that some citizens are not happy with Steve O’Malley’s work as county administrator, or with the idea of a La Crosse city administrator. Has O’Malley gotten any public response to this plan yet?
