Former Mayors Involved in Mobil Oil Site Future
Actual movement on the possible development of what’s commonly known as the Mobil Oil site between Copeland Avenue and the Black River in La Crosse. Meeting are scheduled to get community input. Experts are holding talks. Even old mayors are getting in on the act. Former mayor Pat Zielke was part of a presentation in city hall on Thursday talking about the 65 acre site’s possibilities.
Several meetings and presentations are planned for this spring to make plans for what is now known as the Riverside North development, including a weeklong intensive planned in May.
