Some people never learn. Or maybe they do like jail. In Sparta, 30 year old

Kevin Talsky may fit one or both categories. This week, an officer on patrol saw Talsky standing on a street corner downtown. The officer was aware that earlier in the day Monroe County had issued an arrest warrant. The officer stopped and took Talsky into custody. After being released on bond and later that night, an employee of Sparta Market & Pharmacy reported a shoplifter attempting to leave without paying for a bottle of aspirin. Cops found it was Talsky.

He admitted to attempting to leave the store without paying for the item and was cited for Retail Theft and taken back to the Monroe County Jail at the request of the Department of Corrections.
