Gunderson Grabs Stroke Award

One local hospital gets national recognition for its treatment of stroke patients…

Gundersen Health System has been honored by the American Stroke Association for going above nationwide stroke standards.  Gundersen says its emergency staffers are routinely able to stop a stroke within one hour after a patient arrives at the La Crosse hospital.  This is the fourth time that Gundersen has received a ‘Gold Plus’ rating from the A-S-A.
