Count And Re-Count Coming In Sparta?

The beer and wine supplies are loaded and some stores in Sparta are clearing

cooler space for the beverages. But until this afternoon….the trucks will still sit idle. Even though a ballot measure asking for the city to allow beer and wine sales to occur in the city was approved Tuesday, 8 absentee ballots have yet to be counted. We asked City Clerk, Julie Hanson if a re-count is asked for, how fast would it happen.

Hanson has been clerk for three years now and has never been through a re-count process. It’s expected no matter how the ending vote turns out .
