Two nearly fatal overdoses have caused La Crosse County to look more closely at a house where women live as an alternative to jail…

Ophelia’s House in La Crosse will soon get an inspection from a federal corrections agency, to see if changes need to be made. County justice sanctions coordinator Jane Klekamp addresses stories that have circulated about Ophelia’s House since the drug incident in February, saying drug use is ‘not out of control’ at the house.

Four women were arrested there in February, including the two who had to be revived after passing out from taking heroin.

following. Although they were doing so in compliance with Chinese laws,
it was still an ethically challenged decision. The elegance of stuxnet was the target computer didn’t need to be connected to the Internet at
all – all it needed was an infected USB to be inserted into one of these
    high-end SCADA systems.
