Sheriff Race Now Down To Two
Then it was back down to two. the number of candidates for the race for
Monroe County sheriff. Republican Mark Jerdee says he has no plans to pursue the office held by retring sheriff, Pete Quirin. Jerdee said he had taken out paperwork for the financial aspects of a campaign about a year ago. However, he decided to not pursue election to the position. That leaves Republicans Wes Revels, former Tomah Police Chief and Scott Perkins, Monroe County Deputy, as the only candidates. The primary is August 12th, and the general election is November 4th.
