Flood Crest Expected Tues Or Wed In La Crosse

Just about a foot to go until flood stage in La Crosse…

Weather forecasters are predicting that the Mississippi will get to 12 feet in La Crosse by next Tuesday or Wednesday. The water was almost up to 11 feet late this morning. The Mississippi is now a foot-and-a-half above flood stage upstream at Wabasha, and should get to flood level at Winona tomorrow.

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
