Military Leaders Converge On Gunderson

Two area military bases sent a contingent of military personnel to

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse Thursday to discuss sexual assaults in the military.  Gundersen Therapist Janis Elder was lead in the conversations and tells us exactly what was discussed.

She says some of the objectives discussed included examining the issue of sexual violence in the military and the Department of Defense’s response, identifying military resources and examining their roles and responsibilities and to compare and contrast military and civilian justice systems.
