A Stoddard man was arrested Friday morning following the discovery of a marijuana manufacturing and trafficking operation. The Sheriff’s Office was tipped off to drug trafficking involving local high school students. The investigation led to a house near Hayward owned by 56 year old Steven Miller of Stoddard.

On Friday morning, search Warrants were executed at both Hayward and Stoddard at properties owned by Miller. At the Stoddard site, cops found processed marijuana that had originated from the Sawyer County site, along with guns and cash.

This is an ongoing case and investigators continue to pursue leads developed during Friday’s searches. At least two more Wisconsin counties have been linked to this case, and more arrests may be on the way.
