Inspection Changes Likely Coming Soon in La Crosse
Big changes coming to building inspections very soon in La Crosse. Mayor Tim Kabat will introduce legislation tonight to meld the fire department and the inspection department in order to better tackle code enforcement. And do it soon
Kabat first suggested joining the departments as a way to relieve the inspection department of some of its backlog of work so the department could focus efforts on new construction, electrical, plumbing and similar inspections.
