More Honored For Heroism

It was a near-disaster on I-90 last January. After a car and pickup

collided on the Dresbach bridge, a semi crashed into both vehicles.  The big truck narrowly missed the two other drivers, who were outside of their vehicles.  Pickup driver Charles McGuire of La Crescent has been commended by the Wisconsin State Patrol for pushing Angela Bartels out of harm’s way when the semi approached.  Angela agrees that Mr. McGuire saved her life:

McGuire hopes that other drivers can learn a lesson from that emergency, saying that the semi driver apparently became distracted while driving.
