Franken Says Debt Too High

Nearly 12 million young Americans carry an average student loan debt of about $13 thousand, according to new research from the Pew Research Center. To much says Senator Al Franken of Minnesota.
He says that students are working way to much while studying….and that has an effect on debt and school work.
Franken says that young households headed by college graduates with student loans averaged a net worth of about $8,700, compared to those without loan debt who netted an average of more than $64 thousand. Franken has introduced a bill on Capitol Hill that would let students burdened by student loan debt refinance and cut down on what they owe.
