Fish Champs From Aquinas
A Wisconsin high school championship fishing tournament was held in La Crosse Sunday. And the title went to two Aquinas High School anglers, Collin Meyer and Hudson Schamberger. The pair were part of an eight person bass fishing club at Aquinas.
Aquinas three teams were joined by high schools from Pewaukee, Brookfield Central, Watertown, and Monona Grove. 12 teams in all were entered. This is the first time the tournament has been held in La Crosse.
From here, the top ten percent from each state championship goes to a regional tournament. Winners there compete in the national championship for a chance to win a $5 thousand college scholarship.
