Man Drives Away Drunk From Detox

Among the many people stopped for an OWI this week-end in La Crosse is the man who had no problem admitting he was drunk.  It would have been hard for the 34 year-old to deny it since he’d walked out of De-tox just a few hours before.  They say the guy apparently pulled an IV out of his arm while at the hospital and drove off.  They say he PBT’d at a .28 and had a hard time speaking when they pulled him over on Friday night near Central high.
