Miller Expects Frac Sand To Be Back In ’15
The contentious frac sand mining issue in southeast Minnesota made its way
into the State Capitol this legislative session. And Winona State Senator, Jeremy Miller says it will be back again. And for good reason.
On the others side, dozens of opponents of the environmentally controversial process chartered a bus last month from Houston, Winona and Goodhue Counties to stage a news conference in the State Office Building. After the news conference, they marched to the Governor’s office in the Capitol asking for a 2 year moratorium on the mining. That didn’t happen.
