Police Begin Annual Seatbelt Smackdown

If former Green Bay Packers great, Donald Driver can’t convince you to do it, it’s probably not going to happen.  Despite the nearly fifty thousand dollars the DOT paid Driver in his last contract to be the pitchman for seat belt use, nearly one fifth of people still don’t buckle up.  A percentage that’s remained the same for years.  Driver’s inked another deal with the state.  And that’s just part of the hundreds of thousands the state spends on advertising to convince you to wear a seat belt.  And why wouldn’t you? asks La Crosse police sergeant, Randy Rank

La Crosse police are among the agencies around the state today beginning the annual two week Click it or Ticket extra seat belt enforcement campaign.
