Additional Meetings Scheduled for Parking Proposals

Two more public hearings have been scheduled on the proposed changes to La Crosse’s parking rules.  The city’s Neighborhood Revitalization Commission today says that both sessions will be held on the 29th of this month.   One in the early afternoon at the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center and one later that night at the Southside Community Center.  The parking regulations have caused an uproar in the community since getting released as a draft proposal earlier this month.  Among the ideas include no parking on residential city streets without a permit.
