Dumpster Program A Hit Again
Four locations, three schools, two weekends and one environment. And one huge
success. The college dumpster diversion program, in it’s third year, wrapped up last weekend. We asked Char Wegner from the City Recycling Department which weekend saw the most stuff dropped off.
Out of the unwanted furniture, appliances and electronics, Wegner says old televisions were the most popular thing to toss out. She’s still waiting on final numbers of items collected by others involved.
