La Crosse Police Nab Suspect After High Speed Bicycle Pursuit

A guy on a bicycle probably would have gotten away with just a warning for running a stop sign in La Crosse this weekend.  But that’s before he wouldn’t stop when a cop tried to pull him over.  Cops say Cole Fisher led police on a high speed chase on his bike on Sunday.  Darting across streets, stopping traffic, repeatedly elluding police.  Finally crashed the bike and took off on foot.   They found him a while later hiding in a wood pile.  Several charges.  Including the one for the stolen bike he was riding.  Riding, as they say, like he stole it.
