Mayo Begins Construction
Construction will begin soon to expand more parking opportunities at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. Crews will begin closing off Parking Lot #2 which is located south of the Cancer & Surgery Center beginning June 2nd. Completion of the project is projected to be July 18th.
Plans include raising the parking lot to street level, while adding additional parking spots. This will allow easier access for patients and visitors while enhancing the overall patient experience at the facility.
During this construction period, Mayo Clinic Health System will offer more golf cart services between lots and building entrances to help patients and visitors easy door to door access to any of our buildings. Those cart rides will be made available between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Visitors to the facility should use either Lot #3 or Lot #10 during this construction period. Those lots are located between the Clinic and Jackson Street. Both lots are accessible from both 10th and 11th Streets. Handicap and special needs parking will be in the rows nearest to the Clinic building in Lot #3.
Because of this construction, we ask that you plan an extra 20 to 30 minutes of travel time to your appointment to allow for parking and transport to each building entrance. If visitors need a ride back to their vehicle after their visit, please notify door personal at each entrance and they will assist in any transportation needs.
