Tomah PD Grabs Military Truck

A $700 thousand Caiman MRAP military surplus vehicle now belongs to the

City of Tomah. And within a day oif getting it, Chief Mark Nicholson says they had it in use within hours.

Nicholson said that the police department applied for the vehicle through the Wisconsin 1033 Program and was recently approved to receive one. Transportation of the vehicle from Texas was the main cost associated with obtaining the vehicle which was approximately $4,000.
