New La Crosse Park Opens Tomorrow

La Crosse’s newest park opens officially tomorrow.  Chad Erickson Memorial Park near Hillview Health Care and Trane on the southside hosts a grand opening tomorrow from ten to noon.  The centerpiece of the new park is the bridge that crosses Vietnam Veterans pond, providing fishing access as does the walking trails and fishing piers around the pond.  Chad Erickson who died in 1995, is the son of Barb and Dave Erickson.   The Ericksons provided much of the funding to restore the pond and the park.
