Cat Owner Accused Of Animal Shelter Break-in Told Not To Call Shelter
A competency evaluation has been ordered for a cat owner suspected of breaking into the Coulee Region Humane Society to get her pets back…
Lee Ann Shore was arrested over the weekend when she called the Humane Society about cats that were taken from her home. That violated conditions of bail from her original arrest, just after Memorial Day. Judge Scott Horne says Shore will be under house arrest, under electronic monitoring, as part of her latest bail:
The judge says the phone call from Shore was ‘not aggressive.’ Investigators say Shore called the animal shelter to tell the staff that somebody was interested in adopting her cats.
