What To Do With Lakeview Now
The Lakeview Health Center in West Salem was approved for sale by the county
board last week to Harry and Carol Griswold of West Salem. Plans for the building and it’s 15 acres of land? Office, commercial and possibly residential use. But Harry tells us ……not right away.
Purchase price for the the 1974 built Lakeview facility and land was $100 thousand. Quite a bit of interest though as Griswold’s group has been approached by business leaders, some asking about apartments and assisted living for seniors. The Boys and Girls Club is also considering the site as well as is the West Salem Police Department for a garage.
