The Salvation Army shelter in La Crosse is seeking funding for a new air conditioning system. Julie Nelson at the shelter says it’s nearly impossible to fix the aging chiller they have now:
Nelson says the new air conditioner they want would cost over 350-thousand dollars. She tells us the Salvation Army will try to hang on to the old cooler through the summer.
