Onalaska’s holiday fireworks show may wait until after the holiday…

The Festival fireworks display at the Omni Center was called off on Saturday night because of storms, and cancelled on Sunday because of the threat of storms.  Festival spokeswoman Kelly Poppele (po-PELL) says organizers will decide soon when to reschedule the fireworks.  She suggests that the display may happen after the first week of July, in order to avoid a conflict with La Crosse’s Riverfest and other local events.
