La Crosse Closes Beaches

A foot and half above flood stage has caused more than one complication for those looking to enjoy the Mississippi around La Crosse this week.  Even those on the beach.  The city of la Crosse has now closed both the Black River Beach and the Pettibone Beach.  The city says both will remain closed until further notice.
