Vote on Fourth Riverside Center Building Tonight

The La Crosse city council could make the final call on a big new development downtown at a special meeting tonight.   The council votes on a resolution to approve a fourth Riverside Center building for developer Don Weber.  The city would sell a lot downtown for 750 thousand dollars and Weber would add another 15 million dollar office building.  Details of the arrangement will be kept secret by the city until the deal is agreed to but part of the deal is redoing former development agreements that stretches the time that Weber is given to create a couple thousand jobs downtown.  Negotiations for the fourth building have been in the works for the last couple of years.
