Officers Assigned to Special Northside Beat

Two La Crosse cops have their new assignments.  Tyler Pond and Casey Kamps have started their new northside beat.  The latest Neighborhood Resource Officers meant to focus their patrols on just one area of the city.  The positions are new for this year and are funded with a mix of federal grants and private fundraising with no guarantee they will continue past the next three years.  Two other officers were assigned earlier this year to similar jobs on the southside near Mayo and Viterbo.
