Fall Trial Scheduled In Lax For Suspect Accused Of Severely Beating Sleeping Man

Thomas Beitlich will get a jury trial for attempted murder.  The Madison man was arrested last October for allegedly beating a sleeping man who was in the home of Beitlich’s ex-girlfriend.  The victim had to be hospitalized for brain injuries and skull fractures.  The Beitlich trial is scheduled to last four days in November.  It will come soon after the trial of Cordero Short, accused of shooting a woman outside a La Crosse bar, and before the Mitrel Anderson trial.  Anderson is charged with the murder of another man inside a convenience store bathroom.
