Funeral Planned Next Weekend For Man Found In Black River

Shalim Augustine’s body was found near the Interstate 90 bridge.  Augustine disappeared Tuesday night after a boat ride on the Black River.  He had told friends he planned to walk about five miles to his home.  Friends and relatives had searched the north side of La Crosse on Friday, shortly before police came upon the man’s body.  An autopsy was scheduled in Madison over the weekend.
