Criminal Charge Ready Against Campbell Police Chief

The Town of Campbell police chief is facing an apparent misdemeanor charge, for using the internet to harass a local political activist.

Monroe County D-A Kevin Croninger says that Chief Tim Kelemen will be charged with unlawful use of computerized communication, when he appears before Judge Dale Pasell this afternoon.  Kelemen admits that he used Tea Party member Greg Luce’s name to sign up for pornographic web pages and other web sites, because Luce was suing the town for trying to restrict anti-Obama protests.  The chief also believes that protesters were being urged to harass Campbell officers.
