July Traffic Enforcement Nails Over 100
55 citations were issued on July 3rd to drivers in La Crosse County for
Operating While Intoxicated, safety belt, speeding, operating after revocation or suspension and other traffic and car safety related issues. 58 warnings were issued to drivers for speeding, safety belt use, vehicle equipment problems, vehicle registration and other traffic safety or car safety problems.
Maichor Lee with the La Crosse County Health Department says they didn’t really compare the numbers with neighboring counties of this size.
The Traffic Safety Task Force conducted the patrol. Lee says it was created to combat impaired driving and promote traffic safety.
