Lepsch Ready With Appeal Of Guilty Verdict In May’s Photo Murders

One year ago this week, Jeffrey Lepsch went on trial for a double murder at a La Crosse camera store.

A jury found the Minnesota man guilty of killing father and son Paul and A-J Petras at May’s Photo in 2012.  Now, Lepsch is appealing his conviction…and his main argument appears to be jury bias.  Lepsch’s appeal attorneys claim La Crosse jurors had already decided their client was guilty before the trial started.  Lepsch was accused of shooting the two victims as part of a robbery, with the intent of stealing expensive photo equipment and selling it on-line.  He was sentenced to two life terms in prison.
