Huge Wreck On I-90

One person is reported dead and several other seriously injured after a 5 car wreck on I-90 this morning. It happened near mile marker 2 near La Crosse about 7:45 a.m. The crash involved three cars, a semi, one van and a dump truck. The dump truck caught fire and was on top of a Ford Mustang. WisDOT opened the I-90 westbound lanes at 9:20 a.m. Eastbound I-90 traffic re-opened near the Mississippi River bridge at about 9:55 a.m., according to MnDOT. Alternate route via WisDOT: Exit 2 eastbound right onto CTH B to STH 53 northbound to I-90 eastbound.
