Wisconsin Counters Minnesota Reciprocity Offer
Wisconsin has an offer on the table to restore an income tax reciprocity
agreement with Minnesota. The proposal affects about 80 thousand people who live in one state and work in another. State Senator, Jennifer Shilling is one lawmaker that’s trying to make an agreement happen.
The offer provides payments from Wisconsin to Minnesota that rise from the $58 million paid for tax year 2009 to $87 million for 2015.
