Local Government Funding a Likely Request from Lot C Developer
Grand ideas are great for downtown La Crosse. Invariably, however, developers ask for money from local governments to complete their projects. Very likely to happen with, what could be a 68 million dollar development for the county’s parking lot between third and fourth streets. Downtown city council rep James Cherf says it’s too early for him to determine whether Don Weber’s plan for the site merits some city funding
Weber’s plan last week was picked as the front runner for developing the 2.3 acre site.
