Richmond Wants Senior Housing Period
Interviews begin tomorrow for the three developers who have submitted plans
to turn the vacant Roosevelt School in rental units. La Crosse City Councilwoman, Andrea Richmond says bottom line…..senior housing is needed and she’s hoping the school board is listening.
The proposals would re-purpose the school into apartment buildings, with one, two and three bedroom units. The projects also called for potentially adding townhomes in the playground space. After the district interviews, Richmond says the city would also like to talk to the three companies as well.
