Man Sets Fire To Go Back To Prison

There’s no place like home….there’s no place like home. The apparent words

of a man busted in Sparta for starting a fire because he wanted to go back to prison. Sparta cops say a dumpster was intentionally set on fire near the Dairy Queen. And…..the man who reported the fire….48 year old Paul Nahkala with no permanent address….told dispatch that he started the fire because he wanted to go back to prison. Nahkala was on probation for arson and was arrested for Arson, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct, and a Probation Violation.
